In response to some uncertainty regarding the melodies on your harvest song sheets, I have attached two recordings. I hope this is helpful and of some use!
Miss Goring
We have had another thoroughly enjoyable week and the boys have become comfortable and familiar with their daily routine and environment. We look forward to our first week of full days next week.
We began our phonics sessions this week and introduced our cursive handwriting. We also practised correctly forming our first group of numbers. You will find in your son’s book bag their homework folder alongside their maths and literacy resources. Please practise these and keep them in your book bags everyday.
As discussed in our parent meeting we are learning the Jolly Phonics songs and actions to aid our learning. Please find a link below with the initial sets of letter sounds:
Here are just some of the pictures showing what we have been getting up to this week:
Visiting the computer room to click and drag and make our self portraits.
Our star boy chart is up on our classroom window. The theme for their show and tell is ‘All About Me’. The children’s names for next week are as follows:
Monday: Aarav
Tuesday: Arjun
Wednesday: Babaseyi
Thursday: Francesco
Friday: Gautam
Have a lovely weekend.
